The 90 kilometre plus Queenstown Trail will link a series of trails within the Wakatipu Basin incorporating the wine area of Gibbston, the historic goldmining town of Arrowtown, Lake Hayes, Frankton and Queenstown Bay. Planned completion date is September 2012.
While the trail will have some hill climbs and descents overall it will be technically easy and suitable for all cycling levels.
