The Lake Hayes Loop is one of the most scenic rides in the Wakatipu Basin as it circumnavigates Lakes Hayes on grade 2 gravel trails. This trail is popular with both walkers and bikers.
- We recommend riding/walking this loop anti-clockwise as it is easier.
Lake Hayes is a short 6 kilometer ride to Arrowtown either along the roads or over the steep zig-zag hill into Millbrook Resort (see the Queenstown to Arrowtown route explained).
